The magazine "Murzilka", familiar to you from childhood, has been pleasing its readers with its existence for more than 83 years. Since the last time you held it in your hands, the magazine has changed a lot. And we want to provide more recent information about him.

It is named after a fabulous creature - a yellow and fluffy Murzilka. Today Murzilka lives on the pages of the magazine as the famous artist Aminadav Moiseevich Kanevsky painted it in 1937.

The basis of the magazine is fiction. She fulfills the main task - brings up the best moral qualities in the child: kindness, honesty, justice, responsiveness. In the years when our country was experiencing a shortage of books for children, "Murzilka" was a link between the reader and children's literature. For many children living in the periphery or in other countries, the magazine now serves as a supplement to textbooks on literature, and also introduces new works by contemporary authors.

"Murzilka" is closely connected with the life and interests of young readers and very vividly responds to them. That is why the magazine is also necessary for adults, in their work with children - teachers, educators, librarians, parents. For this, the magazine contains a variety of materials.

The headings "Walking with words" and "Let's play with words" serve to expand linguistic ideas, study the Russian language of readers. They publish: fairy tales, poems, tongue twisters, which contribute to the mastery of the Russian language, the culture of speech, teach the rules of spelling. These headings contain entertaining questions, tasks, contests, which especially attracts readers and encourages them to be active.

In the headings "Merry Mathematics", "Green World" in an entertaining, and often in a poetic form, difficult problems are given, tasks that attract the attention of readers, their older brothers, sisters and parents.

For more than 15 years, the magazine has been running the "Murzilki Art Gallery" column. She acquaints children with the peculiarities of the work of outstanding artists, with reproductions of paintings, which are masterpieces of Russian and world painting. Comments by art historians help shape the aesthetic views of readers.

Also, the magazine publishes materials that tell about the great geographical discoveries, about the famous travelers of the distant past and our time; issues of legal education, psychology, ethics, culture of communication, rules of behavior in extreme situations are constantly covered.

Great attention devotes to useful leisure activities. A variety of homemade products are provided in each room.

Inside the magazine there are tabs, valves on which educational games, crosswords, tasks are located. Tabs can be cut out, crosswords can be collected in separate booklets, reproductions of paintings can be removed from the magazine.

V last years the magazine has changed: each issue has separate appendices neatly stapled in the middle of the magazine. Applications are different: "Murzilki Art Gallery", board games, coloring pages, homemade products, stickers, patterns, posters, etc. You can subscribe to the magazine from any issue.

In addition, the editorial office of the magazine constantly communicates directly with its readers: organizes meetings for them with the editorial staff, the authors of "Murzilka": writers and artists; arranges art exhibitions.

The exhibition is a selection of more than one hundred and fifty works of artists who collaborated with the magazine in different years... They are: K. Rotov, A. Kanevsky, A. Bray, Y. Pimenov, V. Suteev, Y. Vasnetsov, V. Konashevich, Y. Korovin, V. Kurdov, V. Lebedev, F. Lemkul, T. Mavrina, A. Pakhomov, E. Charushin, V. Favorsky, E. Rachev, M. Miturich, G. Makaveeva, Yu. Kopeiko, V. Chizhikov, V. Losin, L. Tokmakov, A. Sokolov, V. Dmitriuk and others. I like to read Murzilka magazine because Murzilka is a mirror of our children's literature. He is the link between readers and writers. For many children living on the periphery, the magazine now serves as a supplement to textbooks on literature. Murzilka is a popular children's literary and art magazine. Published since May 1924 and is addressed to children from 6 to 12 years old. For 87 years of existence of everyone's beloved children's magazine, its release has never been interrupted.

Slide 3

It is named after the fabulous creature of the yellow and fluffy Murzilka. Murzilka got his name thanks to the mischievous and prankster - a little forest man who existed in popular books for children of the late 19th century. It was a man in a tailcoat, with a cane and a monocle. Then the image of the forest Murzilka changed to the image of an ordinary little dog, helping everyone in trouble. But Murzilka in the guise of a puppy did not last long.

Slide 4

In 1937, the famous artist Aminadav Kanevsky created a new image of Murzilka. Since then, a yellow hero lives in the children's edition "Murzilka", in a red beret and a scarf, with a camera slung over his shoulder.

Slide 5

The main distinguishing feature of the Murzilka magazine for children is its high-quality literature for children. Over the years, Agnia Barto, Korney Chukovsky, S. Marshak, M. Prishvin, K. Slide 6

Murzilka "is not only stories and fairy tales for children, it is also useful children's reading... The magazine's regular columns, interesting and informative, are a worthy addition to the in-depth study of school subjects: the Russian language ("Detective agency", "How the word appeared"), geography ("Travel and discoveries are great geographical discoveries"), Natural science (Murzilka's Red Book), labor (achievements of science and technology in the rubrics), physical culture (" Champion "), OBZH (" School of Safety "), visual arts("Going to the Museum", "Art Gallery", "Murzilki Art Gallery"). Each issue of "Murzilka" has games and crosswords, riddles and puzzles, rebuses, coloring books, homemade constructions.

    Slide 10

    Journal structure - content

The structure of the magazine is very convenient. On the first page of the magazine, the main character "Murzilka" holds in his hands multicolored balloons with the titles of headings and articles published in the magazine with the indication of pages.

    Slide 11

I find informative information in the section "Travel and discoveries"

Together with travelers I made many discoveries for myself by reading the section "Travel and discoveries".

    Slide 12

    Travel and discoveries

Reading Oleg Tikhomirov's article "On the Seas and Caravan Trails" I met in absentia the great traveler and "father of history" - Herodotus and his book "History in nine books".

    Slide 13

Traveling with Herodotus, I visited cities located along the coast of Asia Minor, little-known regions of Macedonia and Thrace, in the mysterious "end of the earth" Colchis, in ancient Babylon, India, Africa.

    Slide 14

The sacred city of crocodiles Crocodilopolis surprised me. People there know how to tame crocodiles, put gold rings on their paws and decorate their ears with glass earrings.

    Slide 15

Black beard - so Vasco de Gama was called - a simple nobleman, loyal to the king, who wore a thick black beard, somewhat longer than that of other close associates of the king. Determination and perseverance allowed Vasco da Gama to open the sea route to India. Reading this article allowed me to find out - how was it?

    Slide 16

Risking his life, hiding under the name of a merchant Alimbek, serving in the Russian army, adjutant of the governor-general of Western Siberia, a young officer Chokan Valikhanov, studied Dzungaria and the people who inhabited it, their customs, rituals and holidays.

    Slide 17

How did Ch. Valikhanov manage to explore the unexplored land - Dzungaria? After all, the law of the Dzungar authorities was harsh - for violating it, foreigners were cut off their heads. The article "The Secret of Alimbek or One of Our Own Among Strangers" helped me to find the answer to this question.

    Slide 18

End of the 13th century - medieval Venice. About his journey, which lasted 24 years, Marco Polo wrote in the book "A book about the diversity of the world."

    Slide 19

At that time, Europeans called Marco Polo "an inventor". He writes in the book that in China they pay not only in gold and silver, but also in paper money. That is kindled by "black stones" (that is, coal), which burn hotter than wood.

    Slide 20

    Slide 21

But century after century changed and readers already find in the "Book of the World's Diversity" not fiction, but Interesting Facts, which I was lucky enough to find out about.

    Slide 22

After the discovery in 1820 by Russian navigators at the South Pole of the mainland - Antarctica, an attempt to go inland was carried out by the Englishman Robert Scott.

    Slide 23

    R. Scott's expedition carried out magnetic observations, collected rock samples. Several miles remained to the southern point of the world. From a distance, the travelers saw a Norwegian flag attached to a pole. The Norwegian expedition of Raoul Amundsen was ahead of them by a whole month. The return trip was tragic.

    Slide 24

The last recordings of Robert Scott "A man is able to live and endure for the sake of the future" are impressive. In November 1912, a tent was found in which the heroes died. In memory of the courageous five, a mahogany cross with their names was erected on the top of the hill, with the inscription on it: "Fight and seek, find and not give up."

    Slide 25

James Cook committed three round the world travel... Cook brought back a huge amount of maps and scientific records. It was rumored that he was captured and then eaten by the natives. But it was not at all like that ...

    Slide 26

Tragedy played out in Hawaii. The natives began to visit Cook's ship and take the ship's utensils. They carried away the boat that Cook needed. The demand to return was refused. Cook took the leader prisoner: return the boat - we will return the leader. But the irreparable happened, one of the soldiers lost his nerves and he killed the native with a shot.

Do not shoot! Cook commanded. And then he fell, struck down by a spear.

    Slide 27

Cook named after the strait between the islands of New Zealand, as well as the whole archipelago, which consists of a group of islands and coral reefs.

    Slide 28

    Red Book

Interesting information about a grass called sword-grass - the height of a round stem at the top of which there are flowers, similar to sea urchins, reaches 1.5 meters or more. And the gray-green narrow and tough leaves up to one meter long resemble combat swords. This is probably where the name came from.

    Slide 29

    Murzilka's Red Book

Hear the legend about the appearance of the lily of the valley in Russia. As if the sea princess Volkhova fell in love with the guslar Sadko. He was devoted to the earthly beauty Lyubava. Volkhova went ashore and cried with grief. So, where her tears fell, lilies of the valley grew.

    Slide 30

Condor is the largest living birds of prey with a wingspan of up to three meters. Condor lives up to 50 years. The main food of the condors is the dead animals - carrion, or weakened by the disease. Thus, condors play the role of orderlies and reduce the spread of infection. Condor is listed in the International Red Book.

    Slide 31

The panda lives in the mountain forests of China at an altitude of 2000 meters above sea level. The main food is bamboo. The main enemies of the panda are the red wolf and the leopard. Fleeing from them, the panda rolls head over heels down the mountain slopes. In this case, the animal closes its eyes with its front paws.

    Slide 32

The lifespan of a lynx is 15 - 20 years. It hunts hares, black grouses, small rodents, less often roe deer, deer.

    Slide 33

I learned about the unique ability of sea stars - regeneration - the restoration of severed rays. If the starfish is damaged, but a part with a sufficiently large piece of the central disc remains, then it can grow into a full-fledged animal. It would be good if people also had this ability.

    Slide 34

It was interesting to know that, oddly enough, an owl arranges a nest in the ground, in a shelter. There are 3 - 4 eggs in a clutch. Parents bravely defend their offspring, and the birds themselves can fend for themselves. When the enemy approaches, they raise their wings, goggle, click their beak, shifting from foot to foot.

    Slide 35

    Bird kaleidoscope

In the article "Autumn Pictures" of the "Bird Kaleidoscope" column, I learned about the life of birds in the autumn in a relaxed, artistic form: red beetles, a light bird, a wagtail, a bullfinch, etc.

    Slide 36

An ordinary bird - a bullfinch - becomes a magician in the fall. If you look at the maple lion purse after the bullfinch has held it several times in his mouth, you will notice that the lioness purse has come apart at the seam, but inside is empty. Here is such a magician - a bullfinch.

It turns out that the most poisonous mushroom, for which there is no antidote, is the pale toadstool. But there are also very "cunning" mushrooms. They are called false because they disguise themselves as edible, real.

    Slide 39

How wonderful the summer forest is!

Call! - bird voices and streams. Aromatic! - flowers and herbs. Delicious! - ripe berries. But the forest can be dangerous. From the heading "School of Security" - at the edge of the forest, I learned which wild berries are useful and which are poisonous.

    Slide 40

But if, nevertheless, through negligence, poisoning occurs, the first signs of which are dizziness, perspiration, vomiting, you should immediately consult a doctor.

    Slide 41

    Slide 43

After carefully reading the Nebolika tips in the Safety School section, I can provide myself and my friends with first aid.

    Slide 44

If you twisted your leg, before calling the doctor, so that the pain subsides, lower your legs into a basin of cold water.

    Health academy

I read a lot, watch TV and sit at the computer, so the special eye gymnastics in the "Health Academy" rubric was very useful to me. I advise you to get to know her too. I listened to the doctor's advice and began to feel much better.

    Slide 48

    Neighbors on the planet

In the section "Neighbors on the Planet" it was interesting to learn about the Indian elephant living in the jungle. He is taught with the help of a trunk and tusks to drag heavy logs from the jungle to the sawmill. The Indian elephant knows how to fold sawn boards to dry and blow off sawdust with its trunk. The elephant works on its own, without any advice and guidance. But when there is no person nearby, the elephant chooses a long rest and meditation.

    Slide 49

The tiger swims beautifully and sneaks up silently. With severe hunger, it will swallow everything that crawls, flies and swims - a fish or a turtle, a crocodile or a lizard, a mouse, a frog and even a locust. He hunts wild deer, goats, antelopes and even bears. His favorite prey is wild boars. Sometimes, she gnaws nuts, nibbles grass, picks berries and fruits.

    Slide 50

Do you think the inhabitants of the jungle act wisely and can they be envied? They do not look far into the future, do not make plans and just live and enjoy every day, even if it is gloomy.

    Slide 51

I came up with the name of the column itself - where interesting things are written in the form of a fictional story. From the story of Raisa Kulikova "Joy between frames" I learned - It turns out there is a butterfly - a geologist - Mother of Pearl. This butterfly loves violets that grow on the ground with zinc ore. Where Mother of Pearl is, there is ore.

    Murzilki Art Gallery

Fans have been invented since ancient times. First, they were made from the leaves of a palm tree or lotus, and then from the feathers of an ostrich or peacock. There were fans, both wooden, metal and paper.

    Slide 53

The most beautiful fans were made from in the 17th - 19th centuries. These were plates of gold, silver, mother of pearl, ivory, tortoise shell.

    Slide 54

The fabric that was glued to the plates of delicate transparent silk or parchment - thin leather.

    Slide 55

The fans were decorated precious stones, lace, exquisite embroidery or painting.

    Slide 56

Friendship between man and dog has been going on since time immemorial. This is evidenced by numerous monuments and works of art.

    Slide 57

For the first time I saw so many paintings by artists depicting dogs. In the works of artists of different times, you can see large, strong dogs, hunting and guard dogs.

    Slide 58

Small, cute lap dogs - shaggy lapdogs, snow-white fluffy Spitz dogs - are often found on the canvases. Looking at some of the works, one can imagine that the dogs are having some interesting conversations of their own.

    Slide 59

For example, in a painting by the Flemish master Paul de Vos, two dogs seem to be discussing newborn puppies among themselves.

After an interesting acquaintance, now I will always pay attention to paintings with images of dogs and be interested in their artists.

    Slide 60

Bilibin is a true artist-storyteller: he is famous for his amazing illustrations for Russians folk tales and Pushkin's tales.

    Slide 61

Bilibin drew with a pen and black ink on large sheets thick paper, then painted black and white drawings with watercolors.

    Slide 62

Many of Bilibin's drawings are decorated with a frame with an ornament: intertwining outlandish plants, geometric shapes ...

    Slide 63

Looking at Bilibin's illustrations, I visited a fairy-tale world created by the imagination of a wonderful artist.

    Slide 64

    Our favorite artists

It is hard to imagine that Buratino could have looked like something differently. A wooden man, cheerful, cute and mischievous, came out from under the brush of the artist Leonid Vladimirsky almost half a century ago.

    Slide 65

The heroes of A. Volkov's fairy tale "The Wizard of the Emerald City" - the Scarecrow, the Lion, the Tin Woodman and others - turned out to be remarkable. Then illustrations for the book "Ruslan and Lyudmila" by A.S. Pushkin, "Three Fat Men" by Y. Alyosha, "Russian Fairy Tales" and others.

    Our favorite writers

With a little envy, I learned that twice a year Kornei Chukovsky arranged merry bonfires on his plot for the children of the surrounding villages: "Hello, summer!" and "Summer, goodbye!" There, artists and the best children's writers, musicians, acrobats, jugglers, magicians, animal and bird trainers performed on a small stage in front of children.

    Slide 78

    Korney Chukovsky

Korney Ivanovich himself came to the fire in the amazing headdress of an Indian leader. And then they lit a fire and danced around it. On his summer cottage K. Chukovsky built the Children's Library. And the children went to it for books and loved to read, play, draw and even do their homework there.
