Proterm outdoor temperature sensor. Boiler accessories Protherm

Trademark Protherm is a well-known manufacturer of innovative equipment for off-grid heating systems. At the beginning of the new millennium, a promising Czech brand came to the attention of the giant Vaillant, who acquired the company and brought it to a new level. technological development. The quality of Protherm can be considered a standard in boiler equipment, since the plant has an implemented system of personal responsibility and each product is manufactured from start to finish by one specialist. gas boilers Protherm have a wide range of models, presented in the Pantera, Cheetah, Leopard and Bear series. The advantages of Czech gas equipment are excellent performance and well-thought-out engineering design, which in the best way contribute to the maximum expansion of boiler functionality.

Heating equipment Protherm is equipped with modern automatic system control and management and biothermal heat exchangers capable of preparing hot water for domestic use. In addition, Protherm boilers can work as a source of hot water, in summer they have the ability to be combined with an indirect heating boiler and are able to operate on liquefied gas. To realize these useful qualities of Protherm, the company has launched the production of the necessary accessories for boiler equipment. The consumer is offered various NTC temperature sensors for boilers. This device is inserted into a special sleeve of the water heater and attached to the boiler board. Such a simple and reliable scheme allows you to automate the process of heating water for domestic needs by turning on the boiler when the water temperature in the boiler drops.

In situations where there is no access to the gas pipeline system, a convenient solution would be to use the conversion kit (changeover) of the boiler to liquefied gas, which allows the use of propane-butane cylinders or a galzoder. The kit includes a gas pressure reducing valve, a set of brass burners, gaskets, connecting parts. If necessary, burners and seals can be purchased separately. Protherm did not disregard the possibility of energy-efficient operation of the boiler in automatic mode. To do this, external temperature sensors are used, which, together with internal temperature devices, maintain the specified microclimate parameters, reducing gas consumption during outdoor heating. For arranging a domestic hot water supply system, special kits are offered for connecting the boiler to an indirect heating boiler. Compact electric pumps are used for efficient filling of the tank. Moreover, with the help of some kits, it is possible to form integrated hot water systems based on not only a gas, but also an electric boiler.

Dear forum users.
I read the entire thread from cover to cover. I ask for advice and opinions. What do we have. Sip-panel house 142 m2 for permanent residence. The first floor has a warm water floor (connected through a manual three-way valve), the second floor has radiators (with thermal heads) and heated towel rails. All last year, it was heated by an old RUSNIT boiler, the power was set to 6 kW, it worked in on-off mode, clocked every 40-50 seconds, i.e. 40 seconds works 40 seconds does not work. As a result, the radiators were always hot, the temperature was comfortable, and the costs were slightly higher than acceptable. In the most frosts included on 12 kW. For a three days. The disadvantages of this boiler are obvious, the stepping is 6-12-18 kW. No smoothness, and with a dedicated power of 12 kW, there is already a little overkill. Plus, I constantly had to adjust the temperature of the coolant and sometimes three-way.
This summer, I installed Skat Proterm 9 kW (I left the old boiler in reserve) and entrusted the management of the boiler to ZONT H2. Installed all four sensors (supply, room, reserve, street). The main sensor is on the ground floor (where there is a warm floor). It is clear that the hysteresis is set to 0.1 degrees, but the boiler still turns on a couple of times a day. Definitely comfortable on the 1st floor. Temperature fluctuations are minimal, within 0.5 degrees, the stove is working. But on the second floor, the radiators cool down quickly, and despite the fact that the warm air should tend to rise, it becomes cool. But it's still zero outside.
I tried different options, and just according to the sensor and along the ZONT curve (PZA), I wanted the boiler to cycle more often and warm up the second floor, in spite of everything, as a result, I refused PZA for the time being, because the boiler still cycles in this mode, and then turned off for a long time and the result is the same.
Options.
1. Budget. I read that someone has the main sensor in a situation similar to mine on the second floor, of course it’s a little problematic for me, but apparently I’ll start with this. Plus, of course, it is now the most budget option. The downside is that, in general, I don’t really like the ZONT control algorithm, because it turns on the maximum power very quickly, almost like on-off. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's how it seemed to me. I would very much like to see the operation of the boiler with native sensors in the PZA mode.
2. Seductive. Follows from the wish in the first paragraph. Purchase native Proterm sensors, external and internal, put the internal one on the second floor. And ZONT can already be used in parallel, i.e. turn on / off the boiler and control the state. There are many questions for me here:
- Do these native panels, Proterm Exocontrol 7 for example, already have built-in temperature sensors or should they be bought and carried separately? Do they connect to the same connectors as ZONT? (I really don't want to lose ZONT), maybe there are some options?
- At what height from the floor is it better to install temperature sensors? I read about 1-1.5 meters, but I have not seen this anywhere in the literature.
- Is the boiler operation algorithm when using Exocontrol very different from the boiler operation algorithm from ZONT?
- What sensors would you recommend to buy in order not to overpay? If anyone has numbers, throw off, so as not to rummage too much.
3. If Exocontrol works on the same connectors as ZONT, then it might be worth buying an external Proterm temperature sensor, picking up the PZA curve already on the boiler, and not on ZONT, and adjust the rest already with ZONT ohm? Is this option possible or do you need two native Proterm sensors?

I look forward to some advice from those in the know...

PS: in the near future I want to switch to a double tariff, so I ask you to take everything written with an eye on this factor...
