How to install Dota 2 scripts?

In order for the script to work, you need to take the script file and copy it. After that, you need to go to the folder where all the Dota 2 scripts are located. In order for you not to make a mistake with the path where you need to install the Dota 2 scripts, you need to go to Steam. After that, right-click on Dota and select properties, as shown in the figure below.

Then click "Local Files" and "View Local Files"

This way you will get exactly where your working DotA lies. Then you go to the "game" - "dota" - "cfg" folder and paste the script here.

Script editing

After you were able to install Dota 2 scripts, they need to be edited. To do this, right-click on the script file and select "Open with" in the submenu. Choose Notepad. In order for the script to be enabled, you need to enable the console. In the game library, right-click on Dota 2, then select "Properties". In the window that appears, click the "Set Launch Options" button.

Should I download and install scripts for Dota 2? What will they give and what will it cost you? I decided to write an article on this near-Dot theme so that players who are hungry for easy victories know what they will face.

Let's talk a little about how this idea was born in my head. As usual, I was looking for a topic for an article with a lot of requests. And then I found it - Dota 2 scripts. I myself have never used cheats, but I wanted to earn a couple of extra bucks. In addition, in parallel, I found information about file hosting. So I thought: “If you write an article about scripts, there should be a download file. Why not make extra money on file hosting ".

I want to upset children, as well as players with low MMR - scripts will not play for you. Yes, the buttons will need to be pressed less, but still necessary. For this simplification, you will pay with an additional interface on your monitor, which will interfere. Usually in scripts they offer to bind several procast options to different buttons. As a result: there will still be several active buttons. In addition, you will have to decide which procast will have enough mana and which will not. Scripts will not look at the minimap for you even with the Maphack cheat.

Playing Dota 2 with scripts and cheats has another drawback - your skill will be artificial. That is, you will bend (for example) at home and be able to throw off a screen with a high MMR. However, you will not have a real skill. If someone asks to show a skill or play for money in a computer club, everything will become clear. Of course, no esports.

The only possible use is to use scripts for rather skillful guys to simplify the boost.

Search, download and install scripts

Finding scripts that can be downloaded is not a problem. The problem is to find "clean" scripts without viruses. Many pi **** sy guess that there are people who crave a "light" bend. I will not say that there is no “pure free code” on the network, maybe there is. But I spent two days looking for it, but I never found it. During these two days I found two kinds of code:

1. Best case scenario it will be a clean installer, but from file hosting. As a result - a complete package from Mail.ru and several hours of hemorrhoids with its removal. I do not advise ignoring Mail.ru - in fact, this is a full-fledged virus. To find out if a link is fraught with such a threat, type it into the Yandex address bar. In most cases, you will be greeted with a red screen and malware warning words.
2. At worst The installer will contain a "real" virus that the antivirus will not always be able to detect. In any case, scanning the system, removing the virus, and numerous reboots of the computer will take time.

There are also files with both variants of the virus. If you really want to install the script, buy it. They are inexpensive, but the probability of getting a "clean code" is many times higher.

Conclusion

I didn't want to be a pi*****, so I had to abandon the idea. Nine out of ten people would write what a radish I am. I would have to overwrite the comments, as a result, the site would turn into a garbage dump. I’m sure there will be people who will write that I didn’t search well, I don’t know how to install and stuff like that. However, I know for sure that there will be those who, at least mentally, will say thank you. For the sake of these people, I wrote an article.
