Exhibitions of high technology and innovation. Innovation forums – a high start in business

Scientific activity is the acquisition and systematization of human knowledge about the laws and principles of the structure of the surrounding world. Complex scientific research of the twentieth century led to the discovery of unique phenomena, processes and patterns. This made it possible to bring the production processes of various materials to a new, unusually high level. With the light hand of journalists, new technologies began to be called innovative. One of the most effective ways to familiarize the public with the results of scientific research has been the holding of exhibitions in various fields of science and technology by different countries.

Why are innovation exhibitions needed?

Exhibitions of innovative technologies have been held for several years by countries leading in the field of scientific and technological research on all continents. World-famous concerns, corporations and small firms that focus their activities on any one area take part in them. Organizers of presentations of major scientific achievements set themselves a whole range of tasks:

  • Introducing the general public to new technologies in the field of science and technology;
  • Searching for sponsors to expand the scope of public use of innovative technologies;
  • Development of various fields of science and technology;
  • Stimulating small firms to invest in the production of goods using innovative technologies;
  • Organization of the exchange of accessible scientific and technical information between large companies;
  • Comprehensive innovative development of a specific branch of science by attracting third-party capital.

It has become a tradition to celebrate the most successful developments in various spheres of public life at the largest ones. In the Russian Federation, the prestigious Innovation Prize is awarded annually. It is noteworthy that this award recognizes both scientific achievements and successful innovative developments in the field of culture, art and social activities.

International Innovation Forums 2018

In 2018, dozens of large exhibitions of innovative technologies are planned, many of which have already become traditional and annually attract a huge number of specialists and spectators. In the exhibition pavilions, authors of scientific discoveries and manufacturers of goods and services demonstrate their achievements. International innovation forums are places where people can see with their own eyes how quickly modern science is developing.

The largest international innovation forum will be held from April 23 to 27 in Hannover, Germany. The Hannover Messe exhibition is a platform for presenting unique scientific achievements in the field of industrial technologies. The number of companies participating in the forum is more than 5 thousand. Visitors and specialists will be able to appreciate the achievements and reduction of human dependence on traditional energy sources, new conceptual solutions towards the automation of various industries.

The exhibition will feature four exhibition complexes:

  • Automation (IAMD);
  • Digital technologies (Digital factory);
  • New research technologies (Research & Technology);
  • Smart energy (Energy).

For the first time, the Hannover exhibition will be held together with the international logistics forum CeMAT.

The largest pharmaceutical exhibition is INTERPHEX 2018. It will open on April 17 in the largest city in the USA - New York (Javits Conventoin Center) - and will last three days. Over a thousand equipment manufacturing companies annually present their achievements in the field of medicine and biotechnology. The exhibition organizer is Reed Exhibitions. She oversees more than five thousand international scientific forums of science and technology around the world, and has offices in dozens of countries on five continents.

More topics - more achievements

The wide range of exhibitions shows how far the globalization of science has progressed. Today, the achievements of scientists are being implemented very quickly. The best way to evaluate the usefulness of various innovations is to visit innovative technology exhibitions. In 2018, scientific conferences are very diverse in terms of topics and organizing countries. Having visited innovation forums, you can see what amazing results modern science has achieved. We present a list of large exhibition complexes dedicated to various areas of innovation.

Nanotechnology

From June 29 to July 2, Tehran will host the international forum of innovative technologies INOTEX 2018. It was first held in 2012 as a continuation of the Russian exhibition Hi-Tech Russia. Director of OGBU "OSI Center",

Ph.D., Associate Professor

Zagidullin Rais Ramazanovich

Dear colleagues, participants
International exhibition-fair!

OGBU "OSI Center" within the framework of the All-Russian Karamzin Readings "Heritage in the system of meaningful self-determination of modern Russian youth" is holding the traditional International Exhibition-Fair of innovative educational projects "Value Guidelines of Modern Education"

As we know, the development of civilization depends on innovation. Innovative development gives education fundamentality and dynamism and ensures its transformative social functions.

A real movement towards something new has created conditions for the development of modern education in difficult socio-economic conditions.

Innovation has always been characteristic of the development of teaching activities.

The need for an innovative focus on pedagogical activity in modern conditions of development of society, culture and education is determined by a number of circumstances.

Firstly, the ongoing socio-economic transformations have necessitated a radical renewal of the education system, methodology and technology for organizing the educational process in educational institutions of various types. The innovative focus of the activities of teachers and educators, including the creation, development and use of pedagogical innovations, is a means of updating educational policy.

Secondly, increasing humanitarization of the content of education, continuous changes in the volume and composition of academic disciplines, and the introduction of new academic subjects require a constant search for new organizational forms and teaching technologies. In this situation, the role and authority of pedagogical knowledge in the teaching environment increases significantly.

Thirdly, a change in the nature of teachers’ attitude towards the very fact of mastering and applying pedagogical innovations. Under the conditions of strict regulation of the content of the educational process, the teacher was limited not only in the independent choice of new programs and textbooks, but also in the use of new techniques and methods of teaching. If earlier innovative activity was reduced mainly to the use of innovations recommended from above, now it is acquiring an increasingly selective, research character. That is why an important direction in the work of school leaders and educational authorities is the analysis and evaluation of pedagogical innovations introduced by teachers, creating conditions for their successful development and application.

Fourthly, the entry of general education institutions into market relations, the creation of new types of educational institutions, including non-state ones, create a real situation of their competitiveness.

The Ulyanovsk region constantly initiates and organizes socially significant events aimed at educating individuals who are determined to succeed in any area of application of their capabilities.

Intellectual potential occupies an important place among the key factors in the innovative development of the region and helps improve the standard of living of the population.

Therefore, the efficient use of intellectual potential and the creation of conditions for its reproduction becomes a priority direction of Russian policy, reflected in the Concept of socio-economic development of the Russian Federation for the period until 2020, according to which “the formation of an innovative economy means the transformation of human intelligence and creative potential into a leading factor of economic growth and national competitiveness."

Issues of training and education of the younger generation are among the priority areas of policy of our state and region.

In our region there are many restless people who thirst for creativity in pedagogy. Their mental potential and creativity made it possible to put the innovation machine into action.

The International Exhibition-Fair of Innovative Educational Projects has been held for the eleventh year.

I hope that the results of the fair will become an incentive for the further introduction of innovative methods of educating citizens and developing the personal qualities of the younger generation.

The organizing committee thanks all participants of the exhibition-fair and wishes creative success in promoting innovation and establishing partnerships.
