Preparing the Camera

Before use, make sure the camera is fully charged and the Micro SD card is formatted and securely inserted into the camera's SD card slot. It is recommended to use a Class 10 Micro SD SDC card.

Turn the power switch to the ON position. When the red light turns off and the blue light stays on, it means that the WIFI signal of the camera is ready.

If you need the camera to operate 7/24 hours, please connect it to an AC outlet using the USB cable and the included 5V AC power adapter. When the camera is connected to an AC power source, the blue and red indicator lights up and remains lit whether the power switch is in the ON position or not.

Network configuration

Install Plug & Play or P2PCamViewer APP on Smartphone or Tablet PC

1. Go to your app store or Google Play, search for " 9527 ", and then install "Plug & Play" on your Android phone or tablet PC or "P2PCamViewer" on your iPhone or iPad.

2. Enter URL www.scc21.net to the download interface. Download the appropriate video software according to the phone system and install it.

LAN mode or P2P Setup

Go to the WIFI or WLAN setting page on your phone or mobile device, connect to the WIFI signal of the camera named "". WIFI signal password - " 12345678 ". Wait until WIFI is connected.

[Note]: If the WIFI signal of the camera is not found or the camera cannot be registered to your phone after a long time, please charge the camera or reset it.

For Android users, launch the "Plug & Play" app. For IOS users, run the APP "P2PCamViewer".

Click "LAN" or "Local Cameras" at the bottom of the screen. The camera will appear after a few seconds. If "Internet" is displayed on the camera, it means that the P2P (LAN) setup is successful, and you can check or record video in P2P (LAN) mode.

[Note]: In this P2P (LAN) mode, you can only view video locally within a range of 10 meters (33 feet).

Tap the camera icon to enter the Hangout screen. On the live video screen, gently place your index finger and thumb on the screen, sliding in and out towards the specific area to zoom in and out.

WAN or Remote View Setup

>> Please make sure the camera is successfully added to the APP in P2P (LAN) mode and is online before you start.

For Android:

Step 1. Launch the "Plug & Play" application. Click the arrow icon on the "LAN" page, and then go to the "Wi-Fi" page.

Step 2: Turn on "Use Wi-Fi" on the "Wi-Fi" page.

Step 3: Click to search for available networks in this region, then select the desired WIFI hotspot to register the camera.

Step 4: Click "OK" to complete the remote view setting, and the camera will automatically reboot.

Step 5: Exit the "Plug & Play" app

For IOS:

Step 1 Launch APP "P2PCamViewer". Click the gear icon on the Local Cameras page, and then go to the Wireless Settings page.

Step 2: Turn on the "WiFi" function. Touch the icon to search for available networks in the area, and then select the desired WIFI hotspot to register the camera.

Step 3: Click "Done" to complete the remote view setting, and the camera will automatically reboot.

Step 4: Exit the "P2PCamViewer" application.

Check if WAN mode or remote view works!

Return to the WIFI or WLAN settings page on your phone or mobile device, log out of your phone or mobile device from the current WIFI network, register your phone or mobile device to another WIFI hotspot, or you can turn off the WIFI or WLAN function, turn on your mobile data. networks.

Launch "Plug & Play" or "P2PCamviewer" APP again.

Click "WAN" or "My Cameras" at the bottom of the screen. Touch the code icon to directly scan the QR code on the back of the camera. For Android devices, the camera will appear after a few seconds. For IOS devices, the UID and password of the camera will automatically fill in the blanks, and then click "Login" to enter the camera. If the camera displays “Internet”, the blue indicator will turn off and the red indicator will remain solid, which means that the remote viewing setting is completed and the camera has entered WAN mode. You can continue watching live or recorded video remotely.

Recording video on a smartphone or tablet PC

Launch the "Plug & Play" or "P2PCamviewer" application.

Click the icon to enter the live broadcast screen. Click the "Remote Video Recording" button to start or stop video recording. Click the Audio button to record a video with sound.

Return to the "WAN" or "LAN" page and click "File" at the bottom of the screen to check video files or screenshots.

Recording to local Micro SD card permanently

>> Please make sure the camera has been successfully added to the APP and is online before you start.

Follow the steps below to set up SD card recording.

For Android:

Step 1. Launch the "Plug & Play" application.

Step 2. On the WAN or LAN page, click the arrow icon , and then go to the SD Card Settings page.

Step 3: Enable "Start Automatic Recording" and "Voice Recording", then set the file size for each video clip. Finally, click "OK" to confirm the SD card setup.

For IOS:

Step 1 Launch the "P2PCamViewer" application.

Step 2: On the Local Cameras or My Cameras page, click the arrow icon and select SD Card Settings.

Step 3: Turn on "Start Automatic Recording" and "Voice Recording", select the file size for each video clip. Finally, click "Finish" to confirm the SD card setup.

The video files will be saved to the Micro SD card on your camera. Turn off the camera, remove the Micro SD card, and use a card reader that provides access to video footage. It is recommended that you copy all video files to your computer before playing.

If "Micro SD Card Format" is displayed on the "SD Card Settings" page, then the Micro SD card has been successfully read.

Changing the WAN Username

>> Please make sure the camera is successfully added to the APP in WAN mode and is online before you start.

On the WAN or My Cameras page, click the plus icon or Options, and then select Update Login Password or Change Login Password.

Enter a new password and confirm it. Finally, click "OK" or "Done" to confirm the change.

Reset to factory defaults

If for any reason the camera stops working or does not work properly, a quick reset will return it to factory default settings.

Exploitation: When the camera is turned on, press the reset button for 3 seconds to restore the factory default settings. Both the red and blue lights will be on for about 3 seconds, then the red will be off while the blue is on. The camera will automatically restart with factory default settings.

Charger

Connect the camera to an AC outlet using the power adapter and USB cable.

It takes 1 hour to get a full charge.

The camera can record video up to 50 minutes on a single charge.

FAQ

Why does the WIFI signal of the camera not appear on my WIFI page?

There are four options for resolving this issue:

1. Camera reset

2. Keep your phone or mobile device within the range of the WIFI hotspots of the camera while updating the WIFI signal page. It may take up to 2 minutes for the hotspot to be recognized on the WIFI settings page of your phone or mobile device.

3. Turn off the WIFI function of your phone or mobile device several times, then turn it on to search again.

4. The camera is in a dead battery, connected to an AC outlet using a USB cable and power adapter.

Why does the camera show offline immediately after logging into it on the "WAN" or "My Cameras" page?

Setting up Remote View or WAN takes 1-3 minutes. Please wait for a while. If the camera is still disabled, please check if the camera has successfully registered to a good WIFI network. In addition, the WIFI network that the camera is configured with may not be the same as the one you connect your phone to.

First, make sure your camera is already in WAN mode and your family members have installed "Plug & Play" or "P2PCamViewer" on their phones or mobile devices. Second, enter the camera UID (a unique combination of 6 numbers and 2 letters specific to your camera) or the QR code that is attached to the body of the DV camera. Finally, click "Login" to add the camera to the APP.

How many cameras can be added to an existing application?

Unlimited.

Camera not recording video?

Make sure the Micro SD card is well installed in your camera. If not, you need to remove the SD card, format it on a computer, and try again.

Why is a video recording fuzzy when playing on my computer?

Copy the videos to your computer before playing them.

Charger

Video recording

Long press the On/Off button to turn on mini camcorder Q7. By default, the camcorder turns on in video recording mode, the red and blue indicators will turn on, and then the blue indicator will turn off, and the red indicator will remain lit. Press the On/Off button again to start recording video, while the red indicator will blink slowly. Every 10 minutes mini video camera will automatically save the video. To stop recording, press the On/Off button again, and the red indicator will stop blinking. If the red and blue indicators are constantly blinking, then the memory card is missing or not being read.

Photographing

While in Video mode, press the Mode button to enter Photo mode, the blue light will be on. To take a photo, press the On / Off button, while the blue indicator blinks - the photo is saved.

Voice recorder mode

While in Video mode, press the Mode button mini camcorder 2 times to enter Voice Recorder mode, the red and blue lights will be on at the same time. In order to start recording sound, press On/Off, while the blue indicator will be on constantly, and the red one will blink.

Motion Sensor

To activate the motion sensor mini camcorder, while in Video mode, hold down the On/Off button for 2 seconds to enter the Motion Sensor mode, the red indicator will stay on and the blue indicator will flash in anticipation of movement. Audio recording will start automatically when motion is detected in front of the lens mini cameras Q5.

Reset

To reset settings mini cameras Q5 press and hold the On/Off button until the camera restarts.

PC connection and charging

To transfer data to PC and charge, connect mini camera Q5 to the USB port of the PC. A mini camcorder is defined as a storage device. Setting the date and time

Webcam Mode

Hold down the Mode button and while holding it, connect the mini camcorder to the PC. The camera will be defined as a standard webcam.

infrared illumination

Turn on the mini camera and select the desired mode: video recording, voice recorder or camera. Press and hold the Mode button for a few seconds, the yellow LED will turn on, which means that the night light is on. Similarly, to turn off the night light, press and hold the Mode button.

Free Apps

Connecting the camera "directly" to a smartphone, laptop

  • Turn on the camera by toggling the Power switch to the ON position.
  • Wait 30-60 seconds for the network "Q7" to appear in the list of wireless networks and connect to it.
  • Go to the program to view the broadcast, select the LAN section and click on the broadcast that appears.

The broadcast can be viewed in full screen mode. If desired, you can connect up to 4 cameras to simultaneously view the video stream from all cameras.

Connecting a Camera for Remote Access (Internet Broadcasting)

  2. Mode switch to P2P position. Then turn on the camera, turn the Power switch to the ON position.
  3. We wait 20-30 seconds for the "MD81S" network to appear in the list of wireless networks and connect to it, the connection password is 12345678.
  4. We go into the program to view the broadcast, select the LAN section and click on the broadcast.
