NGO "BNPA" is the oldest and representative intersectoral structure of civil society operating in the industrial and business sector of the Republic of Belarus.

RPO "BNPA" has branches in all regions, the city of Minsk and a number of regions of Belarus, constructively supports the initiatives of the country's leadership on socio-economic transformations, development of the business environment, industrial and entrepreneurial initiatives, investments and innovations, constructive dialogue between business and government.

At present, RPA "BNPA" unites and consolidates over 600 members of the association (heads of enterprises, industrialists, entrepreneurs, founders of companies, scientists). Many of the members of the association head well-known national associations and enterprises, as well as other republican and regional public and non-profit organizations, which makes it possible to involve their potential in the development of expert proposals and various projects.

Among the assets and experts of RPA "BNPA" are such well-known people in our country as Ling S.S. (formerly Prime Minister), Mariev P.L. (famous industrialist, Hero of Belarus), Labunov V.A. and Nikitenko P.G. (academicians of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, heads of scientific fields in their fields), authoritative representatives of the banking sector of the republic: Kostyuchenko S.A. and Chernyavsky F.I., well-known leaders of other non-profit and public organizations of Belarus: Borovoy N.I., Skakun A.S., Skvorchevsky A.A., Manshin G.G., Trukhanovich A.I., Kruglikov I.A. ., Karyagin V.N., Trifonov N.Yu., many other industrialists, business leaders, scientists and entrepreneurs with the highest intellectual potential.

The task of reaching a new level of interaction with the executive and legislative authorities of the republic, the leadership of the regions, other partner public and non-profit organizations of Belarus, with which the RPA "BNPA" has concluded about 20 contracts and agreements, is being implemented. On their basis and in accordance with the provisions of its charter, RPA "BNPA" acts as a consolidating center (platform) of constructive industrial, entrepreneurial and business circles, focusing on innovation, investment and business initiative.

The emphasis in the work of the association, along with the development and submission of initiative proposals to the Ministry of Economy and other authorized bodies of the Republic of Belarus on the most important macroeconomic issues (simplification of the tax system, minimization of administrative and certification procedures, pricing, formation of a favorable business and investment environment), is also complemented by specific issues development of public-private partnership, constructive public dialogue between business and government, promotion of healthy competition and counteraction to unfair competition.

Experts are convinced that the authorities falsified the victory of Anna Kanopatskaya guided by selfish motives.

For the first time in 20 years, an opposition deputy has entered the Belarusian parliament. Anna Kanopatskaya from the center-right United Civil Party, the only one out of 176 opposition candidates, made it to the lower house of parliament of the sixth convocation with a score of 23.7%. The problem is that neither observers, nor the press, nor party leader Anatoly Lebedko, nor Ms. Kanopatskaya herself can recognize the fair victory of the opposition candidate.

LAWYER, BUSINESSMAN, DAUGHTER OF BELARUSIAN MILLIONAIRE

Belarusians managed to christen the only candidate from the opposition as a young, attractive and promising future deputy. Anna is 39 years old. During this time, she managed to have a foreign husband, a Polish citizen, give birth to two children and acquire a rich legal practice.

Otherwise, there is little information about Anna Kanopatskaya. The opposition MP does not favor the press with attention.

Anna has a law degree, her own profitable business - a consulting company and a millionaire father. Five minutes to the deputy, she declares that she "comes from an ordinary intelligent family." Kanopatskaya's father, Anatoly Trukhanovich, is known for attracting more than a million dollars in investments to the country. With the onset of retirement age (at that time 60 years old), Trukhanovich publicly refused the social pension, saying that its size was too small. Now he heads an enterprise that supplies equipment and technologies to Ukraine. The deputy's mother is a housewife.

Anna Kanopatskaya has been in opposition to the authorities from a young age. In 1995, when she was not even 20 years old, she became one of the co-founders of the United Civil Party (UCP), an adherent of liberal-conservative values.

Head of the UCP Anatoly Lebedko speaks of Kanopatskaya as a team player and a charismatic leader. “I think this is a consequence of the fact that she is in business. Anna is self-sufficient. She does not go to Parliament in order to have $1,500 of stable monthly income. Although for others this is a serious motivation,” Lebedko notes. According to him, Kanopatskaya "is ideal for parliamentary work, but you can't call her an armchair person." Not without pride, he recalls how Anna was brought to administrative punishment for participating in street actions.

The candidate admitted that she got into politics thanks to her children: “I want my children to live in an independent country in the future, to be able to determine their own destiny. I want my children not to be afraid to do business and to know that tomorrow the guys in leather jackets will not come and take away the business.”

ABOUT PARLIAMENTARY PLANS AND PRESIDENTIAL AMBITIONS

The opposition candidate began her pre-election political activity with sharp criticism of the parliamentary work of her predecessors, calling them parasites. It is worth noting that the scandalous decree on parasitism, as well as the decree on raising the retirement age, was considered by parliamentarians of the previous fifth convocation. Subsequently, the bills were approved by the upper house of parliament - the Council of the Republic. “There are people in parliament who do not want and cannot create conditions for a quality life for people. That's where the real parasites are, - Anna blames them. “Yesterday our salaries were 500 dollars, today there are not even 500 rubles.”

Kanapatskaya's political mentor, Lebedko, is convinced that "Anna alone can do more in a year than 110 deputies over the past four years, who proposed only three bills." In fact, the deputies of the fifth convocation adopted about 400 bills, including banning spices, lowering the age of criminal responsibility, and forming a Code of Culture.

Kanopatskaya looks further. Already at the first session of the new parliament, which will begin on October 2, the opposition MP intends to present several dozen bills. Which ones, she does not reveal. So far, Anna has set three priorities for herself. The first is a change in the electoral legislation. According to the deputy, the elections in the country should still be held honestly. The second is a massive economic reform through the creation of a million jobs. The third is the European way of Belarus.

The ambitions of the opposition deputy cover the elections of the head of state of the distant 2020: "We will declare ourselves in the presidential elections."

ELECTIONS DID NOT BECOME FAIR AND TRANSPARENT

The passage of the opposition candidate to parliament did not convince the opponents of Lukashenka's power in the democratization of the voting procedure. “The entry of two people into parliament with an opposition dossier does not mean that something has changed with the electoral model in Belarus. We still do not have fair and free elections,” Lebedko comments. (the second person with the opposition dossier is the deputy chairman of the "Belarusian Language Society" Alyona Anisim - ed.)

Cannot confirm the victory of Kanopatskaya and independent observers. Here is an excerpt from their statement: “On this site (where Kanopatskaya advanced - ed) also, as well as on others, an overestimation of the turnout for early voting was recorded, and the counting of votes "was classical". Therefore, human rights activists can neither confirm nor deny the victory of the oppositionist.”

According to the instructions of the Belarusian Central Electoral Commission, one side of the table where ballots are counted should be free for observers to see. In this case, the observer must be at a distance of three meters from the table. Photography is allowed only with the permission of the chairman of the commission.

Under the “classic counting of votes” in the elections in Belarus, observers mean the creation of conditions by precinct commissions when observation becomes impossible. According to the observers, the possibility of visual control over the counting of votes is limited in most polling stations, and members of the commissions deliberately create provocations, followed by the removal of the observer from the polling station, often without justification. They themselves emphasize the fact of their powerless position by the fact that their complaints are often ignored.

Nevertheless, the journalists managed to fix the "postscript" from the site of Anna Kanopatskaya. The photographs clearly show that the total number of early voters has almost tripled: from 169 to 501 votes. And this practice has already become the norm, independent observers say. In whose favor the “non-existent” votes were given, one can guess.

“As if she had won,” this is how the Belarusian press comments on the passage to the parliament of Kanopatskaya. The reason is simple: Tatyana Korotkevich, a former presidential candidate, was the main competitor of Kanopatskaya. Against her background, Anna Kanopatskaya is a little-known person.

Surprisingly, Anna does not deny that her victory is nothing more than the result of dishonest elections. And he promises to investigate: "If the observers have facts of falsification, then we will do everything so that they are investigated."

Belarusian human rights activist Alexander Belyatsky sees nothing surprising in the fact that the authorities decided to "attribute" other people's votes to Kanapatskaya. “This is a step by the Belarusian authorities, which will make it possible to legitimize the activities of the parliament, which has not been recognized by the international community for 20 years. The mechanism of elections in the constituency where Anna was nominated was no different from all other constituencies. The falsification made in favor of the opposition candidate will help dispel a little talk about facade democracy in Belarus,” he said.

A DEAL WITH POWER?

The results of the parliamentary elections caused a flurry of criticism against Kanopatskaya and the leader of her party, Lebedko. If some party members despise the decision of the party leadership, then experts suspect him of making a deal with the authorities.

The fact is that many comrades-in-arms still cannot forget that during the presidential election campaign of 1994 and almost a year after it, Anatoly Lebedko actively supported candidate Lukashenka. In 2000 Lebedko went into opposition. The confrontation with the authorities resulted in numerous street actions and brawls with the police by the opposition leader. After the 2004 referendum, which allowed Lukashenka to run for a 3rd term, Lebedko began to systematically accuse the authorities of electoral fraud and boycott the elections. The leader of the UCP draws attention to what he believes to be undemocratic elections by participating in them independently and nominating candidates from the party, after which he withdraws the candidates. For example, Lebedko withdrew his candidacy at the last stage of the 2015 presidential election.

The past parliamentary elections in 2016 showed that Lebedko changed tactics, while he still does not recognize the election results. “It was me who initiated Anna's participation in this campaign. Although there was not much motivation to participate in a company without rules. The decision was made at the last moment,” Lebedko said.

The party activist comments on the contradictory actions of the UCP leader Olga Mayorova: “My main question is how can one simultaneously recognize elections as illegitimate throughout the country and make an exception for a single constituency (where Kanopatskaya won - ed)?».

The fact is that the Belarusian opposition is often called "pocket". It is beneficial for Lukashenka to have a small staff of completely excluded from political participation, controlled opponents, used for a visual demonstration to the West. On the other hand, in the conditions of the economic crisis, the politically disarmed Lebedko's party proposes a constructive program "Million Jobs". Only officially registered unemployed in the country now more than 40 thousand people. According to Lebedko, he intends to use the mandate of Anna Kanopatskaya "to form a new agenda for Belarus", as well as to implement party programs.

Anatoly Shumchenko. Photo: Sputnik/Viktor Tolochko

Leader of Belarusian entrepreneurs, Anatoly Shumchenko, is convinced that the UCP opposition party has become a structural part of the system: “If you use the services of a cheater, you yourself turn into him. Therefore, I believe that this is a deal with the authorities and opportunism. The UCP put an end to itself.”

A public activist, coordinator of the civil campaign "European Belarus" speaks about a clear and thoughtful course of power in relation to Anna Kanopatskaya Dmitry Bondarenko: “The essence of the plan of Lukashenko and the KGB became clear at the very first press conference of the appointee Kanopatskaya. The leader of the United Civil Party Lebedko, introducing his ward, said that she was fluent in foreign languages. And Kanopatskaya immediately stated that she had been working with the West for a long time and “doing everything to attract investment to the country.”

Not in favor of Kanopatskaya is the fact that the leadership of the party decided not to give up her mandate. And this decision has already marked the beginning of a split in the party, which only plays into the hands of the authorities. “The only right decision would be to tell the society that we want to win in a worthy and fair fight, and not use the handouts that power gives us. It would be strong and worthy to put the mandate on the table,” emphasizes Shumchenko.

It was difficult to collect information about the newly elected deputy in open sources. It is known that Anna was born on October 29, 1976. According to her Facebook profile, she graduated from school No. 55 on Nadezhdinskaya Street in Minsk. The secretariat of the school confirmed this information, they are happy with Anna's success, but they can’t tell anything about their former student: “Those teachers are no longer at school.”

Anna Konopatskaya graduated from the Faculty of Law of Belarusian State University. He has his own business, director of Greenray LLC, which provides legal services. It was not possible to find reviews on the activities of Anna's company, but it is known that Greenray received a license for the right to provide legal services back in 2005.

Against the background of many other candidates, and especially opposition ones, Anna Kanopatskaya declared a significantly larger profit last year - 293,802,204 rubles. She also has an apartment and a car. According to Radio Liberty, Anna drives a white Nissan, one of the latest models.

In her campaign speech, Anna repeatedly said that she had two "beautiful" children. According to Radio Liberty, Anna does not live together with the father of the children. And at school we were looking for Anna under her maiden name - Trukhanovich.

“I am from an ordinary intelligent family,” Anna described her origin. He says that dad was the head of the computer technology laboratory at BNTU. And my mother, "an economist by education, worked at a vegetable base." Now, according to Anna, "dad is engaged in private business, mom is a housewife."

Anna's father - Anatoly Ivanovich Trukhanovich - "Narodnaya Volya" calls "a legal Belarusian millionaire." True, the grounds for such a characterization are not disclosed. Anna herself, in an interview with Gleb Lobodenko, joked that "every Belarusian can be called a millionaire."

It is alleged that Anatoly Trukhanovich refused the state pension because it is "too small", and he himself "attracted investments worth a million dollars to the country."

Anatoly Trukhanovich was once the chairman of the Union of Entrepreneurs. "Soviet Belarus" still regularly invites him for their publications as an expert. So, in 2015, he commented on the acquisition of the Moskva Hotel in Moscow by the Belarusian brothers-businessmen Khotin. The pro-government newspaper presents Trukhanovich as the director of the Scientific and Industrial Enterprise "ADL" and the chairman of the public association "Belarusian Union of Taxpayers".

So far, no one has answered the public association's phone. And about the company t; ADL "Google provides the following information: founded in 1994, it supplies equipment, technologies and integrated solutions for the main sectors of the Ukrainian economy. The head office is in Kiev, there are representative offices in Kramatorsk.

“I don’t know exactly what he was doing, but he had money, and a lot of it,” ex-deputy Sergei Skrebets says about Trukhanovich.

It is known that Trukhanovich is friends with ex-Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Chigir. To find out more about the family of deputy Kanopatskaya, we called him, and it turned out that Mikhail Nikolayevich even participated in her election campaign.

“I know her very well. I think that the person is persistent, stubborn, like his father, - says Mikhail Chigir. “I think such a person will benefit Parliament.”

“For me, her election is somewhat unexpected,” says the ex-premier. He is convinced that in the case of Kanopatskaya, the election commission counted the votes fairly. He believes that the fact that her program was published in Vecherniy Minsk played a positive role in Anna's election. As for her rival, Tatyana Korotkevich, who only recently took part in the presidential campaign, she "doesn't want to." He says that he used to lean towards her, but after that “he began to think about her differently.”

Mikhail Nikolaevich has only a good opinion about the daughter of his old friend. “She actively worked during the election campaign,” says Mikhail Chigir. “I was with her at the pickets, she was active, people came up, collected signatures.”

Chigir also positively looks at the parliamentary future of Anna Konopatskaya. He believes that there will be more than two opposition deputies in this parliament.

“Many deputies, when they find out what is happening, when they listen to others, there will be much more opposition ones,” Mikhail Nikolayevich is sure.

But the deputy of the House of Representatives of the 2nd convocation, Sergei Skrebets, who, after his deputy, was convicted of “swindling loans” and completely lost his business, has a completely different opinion:

“A businessman in parliament is very easy to control,” he said. - If he misbehaves, it is easy to take away his business, as happened to me. Confiscate property and even put them in jail. In my example, this was clearly visible.”

Skrebets believes that the presence of Konopatskaya's business is the criterion according to which she was "elected" to parliament. Plus, "she's a woman," he says:

“And a woman is easier to control, easier to scare. Therefore, Gaidukevich Jr. was not given a move, since he is poorly controlled, Skrabets argues. “If she presses the wrong button, not only her business, but also the business of her father, her friends may be at risk ... ”

“If the authorities “thrown ballots” for her, then I feel sorry for her,” concludes Skrebets. - For this, other services will be required from her. She's going to have tough choices coming up soon."

The famous building on Manezhnaya Square went to the owners of the largest Moscow electronics market, Gorbushkin Dvor.

The Moskva Hotel (more precisely, the Four Seasons Hotel Moscow - that's what the hotel is now called) has changed owners. And it passed from the control of the structures of Suleiman Kerimov to the Belarusian "kings of real estate" Yuri and Alexei Khotin.

The amount of the transaction was not disclosed, but, according to market experts, such an object, even taking into account the crisis, cannot cost less than $160 million. This purchase can be called the deal of the year.

In the last couple of years, transactions with Moscow commercial real estate of this price category are rare. Investors from far abroad have practically stopped investing in Moscow hotels. Those new buyers that are - mainly from the CIS countries.

Khotin to "Moscow" approached in stages. In August 2015, we acquired the Fashion Season shopping gallery, which now occupies the first three floors of Moscow (from the 4th floor and above - the hotel itself). Now the entire building is at the disposal of Belarusian investors.

Four Seasons Hotel Moscow is considered the best new hotel in the CIS countries. In a rebuilt form after ten years of reconstruction, the hotel opened only in 2014. Moreover, as experts note, there are no questions about the quality of the work performed.

The famous hotel "Moskva" passed into the hands of new owners - Belarusians Khotins.

The new building meets all modern ideas about a luxury hotel in terms of equipment and comfort. Rooms - from 40 sq. m, and these are the smallest. The bathrooms have marble panels, the suites have special smoke-free fireplaces and infrared saunas. The "presidential" suite is generally amazing: three bedrooms, a living room overlooking Red Square, a veranda overlooking the Kremlin. And a separate entrance from the street - guests can enter and exit unnoticed by staff and other hotel guests.

Plus - a unique story: the former hotel "Moskva", opened in 1935, was known not only to all of Moscow, but to the entire Soviet Union. After the old hotel was demolished in Luzhkov's times and a new one was built, the historical appearance of the building was partially preserved, maintaining the style of constructivism of the 1930s. Elements of this style are also included in the interiors - this is one of the chips.

Prices, however, correspond - the hotel is considered one of the most expensive in Moscow. A day will cost from 33.5 thousand Russian rubles to almost 240 thousand Russian rubles per person.

How much is it now possible to attract guests who are willing to pay that kind of money, and how quickly will the purchase pay off? Experts say that this is not the question. Such purchases are not made for a quick profit. This is a long-term investment in a place, in prestige.

And it is impossible to find a commercial property with an equally good location in relation to the Kremlin and Red Square. That is, of course, there is also GUM, it is generally located on Red Square. But GUM is not put up for sale. Crises come and go, and a place near Red Square and the Kremlin is unlikely to ever depreciate.

OPINION

Anatoly Trukhanovich, businessman, director of the Scientific and Industrial Enterprise "ADL", chairman of the public association "Belarusian Union of Taxpayers":

- Khotins are serious businessmen, real estate in the center of Moscow is both prestigious and profitable. The Russian capital is one of the centers of world tourism and an expensive city, so the investment will pay off. In the place where the hotel "Moscow" stands, they cannot but pay off.

And it doesn’t matter that before that, the Khotins were not engaged in the hotel business. They are looking for new areas and forms of activity. If you are in the same niche, you can simply burn out when the market changes.

What else do Khotins in Moscow own

Moscow's iconic Gorbushka, the Gorbushkin Dvor shopping center next to the Bagrationovskaya metro station, is also under Belarusian control. It was purchased by the father and son of Khotin in 2011. At the same time, another largest Moscow shopping center located in the neighborhood, Filion, also went to them. The total amount of this transaction (Gorbushka plus Filion) was estimated by experts at $400-500 million.

In general, the Belarusians of Khotin are considered one of the largest Moscow developers. In total, through affiliated companies, they control about 1.8 million square meters. m of office and retail space in Moscow, including business centers Cherry Tower (Novye Cheryomushki metro station), Krasny Bogatyr (Preobrazhenskaya Ploshchad metro station), Nizhegorodsky (Nizhegorodskaya street in the north of Moscow). In the rating of "kings of Russian real estate" for 2014, Forbes ranked the Belarusian family in tenth place (annual rental income is $ 320 million).

EXPANSION IN NEIGHBORHOOD

Oil, tablets and parts

Large businessmen from Belarus have long and successfully mastered the Russian expanses, acquiring or creating their assets here.

Valery Shumsky, a native of Vileyka, a graduate of the energy department of the Belarusian Polytechnic University, was one of the first to find oil outside of Belarus. In 2002, he bought oil companies in the Saratov region - Bogorodskneft and Povolzhskneft, which are part of his main business - the independent oil-producing holding Yukola-Neft. Today, Yukola-Neft occupies a prominent place in the regional market. Over the past three years alone, the company has produced 652,000 tons of oil from the fields of the Saratov Region. In February of this year, a well was discovered at the Vasilkovskoye field in the Dukhovnitsky district. Last year, the company won a tender for the development of the first site in the Samara region. Yukola-neft also owns a 21-kilometer oil pipeline.

One of the most significant in recent years was the deal in the fish processing market. The Belarusian enterprise Santa Bremor, which is controlled by businessman Alexander Moshensky, bought the Russian Sea for $52 million. The main asset of the acquired company is a factory for the production of fish and seafood preserves in Noginsk near Moscow. (Read more about this in one of the upcoming issues of "SV".)

The Belarusian company Amkodor, the largest manufacturer of road construction and municipal equipment in the CIS, headquartered in Minsk, acquired the Bryansk plant Energozapchast a few years ago. Owner - Alexander Shakutin. Thanks, among other things, to this deal, Amkodor has become the largest owner of assets outside of Belarus.

The Belarusian company ASBIS, founded back in 1990 by Sergei Kostevich, today is one of the key players in the market

IT-technologies in Russia. Constantly increasing momentum. In 2011, it began selling tablet computers, and since 2012, smartphones under its own brand Prestigio. GPS-navigator Prestigio ranked first in sales in Russia with a market share of 28.5%.

The first Belarusian dollar millionaire Anatoly Trukhanovich recently celebrated his 70th birthday. How did he earn his first capital and what business is he doing now? Trukhanovich told reporters about this Naviny. by who looked into Anatoly Ivanovich's office.

First million

Anatoly Trukhanovich was born in Polissya - in the village of Zaprosye, Luninets district. His father worked all his life as a rural teacher, and his mother ran the household. After school, he served in the army, and then entered the Faculty of Applied Mathematics at the Belarusian State University.

At the age of 30, he became the director of a computer center at the Institute of Technology, at the age of 39 - deputy general director of the research and production association "Belmedbioprom".

When in the second half of the 80s in the Soviet Union they began to pass laws aimed at developing a business initiative, Anatoly Trukhanovich decided to go into business.

“I clearly understood that this was an opportunity to become a capitalist, a millionaire. At that time there were no other goals. Well, I was an active person too.”- says the entrepreneur.

His first business was selling fur. In 1988, he opened a mink and arctic fox farm. The then scarce goods sold well on the domestic market. Profitability reached 300-400%. In 1990, Anatoly Trukhanovich was the first in Belarus to legally earn a million dollars after paying taxes. A large article was devoted to this in July 1991 by the newspaper "Republic".

Business in the 90s and 2000s

Then, however, the government introduced an excise tax on fur, and Anatoly Trukhanovich curtailed this business. He began to assemble computers from components and sell them, was engaged in the production of computer tables, placing orders at Belarusian factories, and was also the first in the country to establish the production of seals.

“In the 90s, there were more choices. Today, many niches are occupied"- notes the businessman.

He says that qualities such as hard work and the ability to adapt helped him to successfully run a business in those years.

“All the time like at the front. Yesterday was like this, today is different. The course is changing, prices are changing, the rules of doing business are changing. All this had to be taken into account and be able to adapt to the situation. And you had to be hardworking. I slept for three or four hours. It's even hard to believe."- says Anatoly Trukhanovich.

Later, he entered the pharmaceutical industry. He imported foreign medicines and sold them in Belarus. With the money he earned, he bought unfinished buildings at auctions, finished them and sold them to businessmen as pharmacies, shops and a fitness center.

“I replicated a lot of businesses and sold to my colleagues” says the businessman.

Thus, he contributed to the emergence of 17 legal millionaires in the country. One of them - Vladimir Yanushko, who now holds the position of First Deputy General Director for Commercial Affairs of the Amkodor holding.

business now

Today, Anatoly Trukhanovich's main assets are the Pukhovichi Bakery Plant, which produces animal feed and premixes, as well as poultry farms in Stolin and Ivenets. They are testing the technology for the production of environmentally friendly products. In particular, the use of antibiotics is minimized there, birds are fed with natural feed and kept free-range.

Anatoly Trukhanovich welcomes the recently adopted package of documents aimed at liberating business initiative and sees progress in improving the conditions for doing business in Belarus.

“It seems to me that our government already understands who is primary in society. This is a person who creates added value.”- notes the entrepreneur.

At the same time, he points out that in Belarus there are still no equal conditions for private and state enterprises.

“For example, the regional executive committee allocates subsidies for the production of feed for dairy cows, but these orders are placed only at state-owned enterprises or with a larger share of them. And they are from the area where my feed mill is located, travel a hundred kilometers, spend more money on transport, while they could have ordered from me. This difference works at a loss. And no one is responsible. That is, budget money is spent on imaginary housekeeping and causes damage. And there is no government control here.”, - Anatoly Trukhanovich laments.

He also says that Belarus is still a country with a high tax burden for businesses.

“In the 90s, I paid 300 thousand taxes, and I have more than a million left. Today I pay several million dollars in taxes and have nothing myself. This suggests that today our tax system is fiscal. It does not allow to develop and takes money from more or less successful ones. Without removing the tax burden, we will never be attractive for investment.”, - notes the entrepreneur, who also heads the Belarusian Union of Taxpayers.

About hobbies and family

From work, Anatoly Trukhanovich is resting on the hunt. Also loves to read. Basically, time remains only for business literature, but sometimes he rereads the classics.

The entrepreneur has two daughters - Daria and Anna. One of Trukhanovich's companies, created back in the 90s, is called ADL - after the first letters of the names of his daughters and wife: Anna, Daria and Lyudmila.

Daria is now helping her father develop the business. Anna was also engaged in business, but is known to a wide circle as a member of parliament. It's about Anna Kanopatskaya.

“Most of all, I am proud that she is not indifferent, delves into everything, lives the life of her country”- says Anatoly Trukhanovich.

He believes that he achieved a lot in his life precisely because he always worried about the country.
